In the period from June 7-11 2022, the delegation of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov headed by the Chairman of the Board – Rector, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor Baimyrzayev Kuat Maratuly visited the universities of the Republic of Turkey to discuss areas of cooperation in the field of academic and scientific activities and signing cooperation agreements.
During the visit to the universities of the Republic of Turkey, the possibilities of free Turkish language courses for students of Zhetysu University, the implementation of joint educational programs, the further development of the academic exchange program, as well as the prospects for joint participation in the international programs Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, Mevlana, etc. for the development of the scientific potential of the two countries were discussed. Agreements were concluded with universities of the Republic of Turkey: Hacettepe University (Ankara), University of Karabuk (Karabuk), Bursa Uludag University (Bursa).
