Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov took part in the exhibition of higher education on targeted educational grants of Atyrau, Mangystau regions. This event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education from April 21 to 24 in Atyrau and Mangystau regions. 42 universities of the country took part in it. The event was organized on behalf of the Head of state in order to implement awareness-raising work on targeted educational grants allocated for applicants in this region.
Within the framework of the event, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, a round table was held on the issues of training young people of the western regions in leading universities, issues of conducting an information campaign were discussed. As part of the explanatory work, an exhibition of higher education was held on April 22 at the House of Friendship in Aktau and on April 24 at the Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov in Atyrau to conduct information and explanatory work. Universities for school graduates and parents were presented at the meeting. In addition, the priorities of Zhetysu University, educational programs and the procedure for admission to study were explained to future applicants at the meeting. A video conversation was also organized with students who entered Zhetysu University under targeted educational grants in 2022 and information was provided regarding the support of talented youth.
Representatives of Zhetysu University also took part in career guidance work in Atyrau and Mangystau regions. A meeting with graduates was held and answers to various questions were given. The presentation about the university aroused great interest, the applicants established a meaningful communication. In addition, all image products were presented to school graduates.
