The library named after G. Ormanov of the Zhetysu university hosts the book week “Abai alemi – mangilik mura”, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai. On February 20, a literary evening “Abai’s legacy is the spiritual treasure of the nation” was organized in order to popularize Abai’s work, increase youth interest in literature and promote spiritual values.
The evening featured Abai’s poems, Words of edification, kui, “Abaiga arnau” – creative poems by students. At the end of the evening, the song “Kozimnin Karasy” was played, which became the audience’s favorite song.
