Research Visit to Istanbul Medipol University within the Framework of a Grant Project

From November 17 to 24, 2025, Aida Ussenova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Creative Education; Elmira Bazhenova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Initial Military Training; and Roza Seilkassymova, Lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines, participated in a research visit to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University (Republic of Türkiye).

The research visit was carried out within the framework of the grant-funded research project IRN AP26102633 “Formation of Gender Tolerance in Society under Conditions of Socio-Economic Inequality”, supported by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the visit, the researchers conducted scientific consultations, expert interviews, and working meetings with representatives of the academic community of Istanbul Medipol University. A significant meeting was held with Dr. Hatice Deniz Genç (PhD), during which current issues related to gender policy, social inequality, and the educational and socio-cultural factors influencing the development of tolerance in modern society were discussed.

The professional discussions focused on contemporary international approaches to preventing discrimination, reducing social inequality, promoting gender equality, and expanding equal access to educational and social opportunities for various social groups. The findings and expert opinions obtained during these discussions represent valuable contributions to the implementation of the project objectives.

As part of the research visit, members of the research team also visited the library of Istanbul Medipol University, where they reviewed and collected recent international scientific publications, analytical materials, and methodological sources related to gender tolerance, social justice, and overcoming inequality.

The collected materials will be used in the preparation of scientific articles, analytical reports, methodological recommendations, and practical proposals aimed at developing effective mechanisms for fostering gender tolerance in society under contemporary socio-economic challenges, as well as strengthening international scientific cooperation
