On April 23, within the framework of Science Month, Chairman of the Board-Rector E.A. Buribayev opened the international foresight conference “Modern Trends in Digitalization in the context of Industry 4.0”, organized by the Higher School of Technical Sciences. The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) has announced that it aims at a new approach to manufacturing based on the massive introduction of information technology into the industry, large-scale automation of business processes and the spread of artificial intelligence.
The plenary session was attended by the Smolensk State University of Russia, the International University of Engineering and Technology, and the University named after Suleiman Demirel, Kazakh National Research Technical University named after Satpayeva and the Vlife company.
At the breakout session, reports of faculty and students of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov and the International University of Engineering and Technology were heard. The participants got acquainted with the laboratory of robotics and mechatronics and the achievements of young scientists at the start-up alley of the Higher School of Technical Sciences.
