The university operates “StrikePlagiarism” software for detecting text borrowings in educational and scientific works.
StrikePlagiarism includes the following modules:
AI-generated content detector: identifies text fragments likely written by artificial intelligence with high accuracy. The system supports more than 30 languages.
LMS integration: the system is compatible with various Learning Management Systems (LMS) through APIs, plugins, LTI, and other methods. Integrations with Moodle, Canvas, Brightspace, OJS, and others are supported.
Paraphrased text detection: recognizes text manipulations such as word order changes, word addition or deletion, synonym replacements, and translations. It highlights modified fragments and displays the original text for comparison.
Similarity search in translated texts: the algorithm enables the identification of similar fragments in translated texts, supporting more than 100 languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Arabic, and Chinese.
Internal search module: performs similarity searches within the institution’s database without transferring data to external services, ensuring compliance with GDPR and copyright regulations.
Compatibility with other systems: the system integrates with various LMS platforms such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, and others through plugins, APIs, and LTI, providing flexibility and ease of use.
