In accordance with the plan of scientific work of the Faculty of Humanities for the 2024-2025 academic year On October 31, the lecturer of the Journalism Department Ilesken Albatyruly held a scientific seminar on the topic “Skills and position of a TV presenter” for students of the Faculty of Journalism. The main purpose of the event is to help future TV presenters develop professional skills and introduce them to the intricacies of the industry.
The TV presenter clearly conveys the basic information and is responsible for the exact task. It acts as a distributor of knowledge and information about news, events and trends of public importance. During the seminar, the importance and responsibility of a TV presenter were discussed.
The journalist establishes a direct connection with the audience and allows them to ask questions and express their opinions. This creates a close bond and opens up the opportunity to participate in public discussions. For example, special attention was paid to such methods as accurate and reliable delivery of information to the viewer, ways to complete the message and establish communication with the viewer.
The main functions and tasks of a TV presenter include the collection, processing of information, the interest of the audience, and the formation of public opinion. Students actively asked questions and received answers about this. At the end of the seminar, a practical lesson was held, where students practiced their conversation and interviewing skills in front of the camera.
A TV presenter must constantly seek professional development. Constant training, collection and exchange of experience, and other creative activities open the way and give an opportunity to develop as a specialist.
The scientific seminar was a great experience for future TV presenters. The teachers who took part in the seminar highly appreciated the lesson and noted that such events contribute to improving the professional skills of students.
