Excursion to the observatory

On November 23, 2024, an excursion was organized to the Fesenkov Astrophysical Observatory. The excursion was attended by students of the FPQ-411 group under the guidance of lecturer Kuatbayeva D. E. and assistant lecturer Zhakpaev K. R. The students learned about the wonders of the astronomical world, observing the planet Saturn, Altair, one of the brightest stars in the sky, and several constellations. During the excursion, the students were informed about the history and characteristics of the Sikhote-Alin meteorite. This meteorite fell to Earth in the Russian Far East in 1947. Throughout the excursion, the students gained new knowledge about celestial bodies and received answers to interesting questions. This visit broadened their horizons and sparked their interest in science.
