On 28.09.2023, Professor of the Institute of Biology of the Institute of Alpine Biology of the University of Žilina (Slovakia), PhD Marian Janiga held a scientific seminar on «Water quality in mountain streams» for the faculty of Zhetysu University. The seminar was attended by Professor of the Department of Public Health of the International Higher School of Medicine Sharshenova Aynash Akynovna (Kyrgyzstan). During the seminar, Professor Marian presented the results of a study conducted in the Tien Shan Mountains together with Kyrgyz scientists.
The professor made a presentation and shared interesting facts. In addition, issues on the organization of work together with scientists of Zhetysu University on the study of rivers of the Zhetysu region were discussed.
The participants discussed the topic with interest, asked questions, expressed wishes and suggestions.
