On 07.12.2023, members of the student club “Geographer-researcher”, students of OP 6B01509-Geography, together with teachers Kerimbai N.N. and Kerimbai B.S. conducted a lesson tour at the Karatal Museum of Local Lore in Ushtobe.
The museum has sections: “Flora and fauna of Semirechye”, “Archeology”, “Ethnography”, “Kazakh Khanate”, “History of Karatal district”, “Great Patriotic War”, “Writer – Kemel Tokayev” and “Pride of the district”. In the expositions of the museum, students got acquainted with the geochronology of the Earth, materials about the unique natural landscapes of the region, the flora and fauna of Semirechye, archaeological values, household items of the Kazakh people, works of applied art, famous state and public figures of the region, historical events.
The museum is based on innovative digital technologies, modern multimedia information technologies are used to the maximum. The students also got acquainted with the materials in electronic form, using tablets, using a 3D format in three languages.
