On May 21, 2024, an online scientific seminar was held on the topic: «LaTex for professional publications, scientific writing». The speaker was Topaev Sultan Orlanovich – Ph.D, Deputy Director of the Center for Technological Competence in the field of digitalization of agriculture, Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after Saken Seifullin, Astana. Seminar organizer: Department of Science and Commercialization of Scientific Projects.
During the seminar, issues related to editing scientific text in LaTex were discussed: creating and adding formulas, images, tables, a list of references and the main scientific text, as well as adding links and hyperlinks to the text. In practice, the editing process in LaTex was shown and the editor was compared with other text editors such as Word.
