On May 22, 2024, the event “Job Fair” was held at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov.
The main purpose of the fair is to create a free dialogue platform between employers and graduates. The fair traditionally takes place twice a year within the walls of the university. Following the results of the fair, graduates will get acquainted with the jobs they need and get a job. As a result of last year’s fair, 89% of university graduates were employed.
At today’s fair, Director of the Department of Academic Affairs Kydyrbaeva Galiya Turyspaevna thanked the employers who came to the event and congratulated the students on the first steps in their careers. At the event, the head of the Civil Service Department of the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs in the Zhetysu region Tarak Samgat Baglanuly made a report, who informed about entering the civil service, told about the advantages, requirements for employment and vacancies.
The fair, which is traditionally held at the educational institution, was attended by about 600 graduates representing more than 50 public and private organizations. Among them are representatives of public and private institutions, organizations and heads of kindergartens, schools, colleges, as well as banking organizations in the region, the Department of State Revenue for the Zhetysu region, the Department of Ecology for the Zhetysu region, the Department of the Penal Enforcement System for the Almaty and Zhetysu regions and the city of Almaty, the specialized department of protection of the Zhetysu region, the state of emergency representatives of the Department of Affairs, branch of the NAO “State Corporation” Government for Citizens ” in the Zhetysu region, The Zhetysu Region Police Department, the heads of the Zhetysu Region Justice Department, the Zhetysu Region Notary Chamber, the Zhetysu TV channel, and the Zhetysu newspaper were invited. About 200 vacancies were submitted by the employers who took part in the event. In addition, as part of previous joint contacts, graduates of Zhetysu University were provided with letters requesting vacancies from all over the region. Employers who came to the fair openly talked with graduates and, in turn, announced their employment.
