On October 11, 2024, an intra-university competition was held at the Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University to finance projects for commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities of young scientists “Jas ǵalym”. Applications were accepted from September 12 to October 10, 2024. Applications were accepted in the following areas:
• Information Technology (IT);
• Sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex and safety of agricultural products;
• Rational use of water resources, flora and fauna, ecology;
• Tourism;
• Socio-humanities sciences.
21 applications were submitted to participate in the competition. On October 11, 2024, the presentation of the projects was defended. The commission included leading scientists of the university, as well as representatives of NCE “Atameken”, the Department of Public Development of the Zhetisu region, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the Zhetisu region, IT HUB – JETISU DIGITAL LLP and the Ilyas Zhansugurov Literary Museum. The task of the commission was to hear the presentations of the projects and determine the best ones that meet the requirements of the approved Regulations of the competition.
