Despite the vagaries of the autumn weather, there is always a creative atmosphere in Auditorium 129. Russian Language and Literature Department lecturer Irina Gennadievna Chsherbovskikh recently completed a competition for the best musical, pictorial and poetic composition dedicated to autumn, organized by the lecturer of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, PhD Irina Gennadievna Chsherbovskikh.
The participants of the competition were first-year students of the majors “History” and “Jurisprudence”, studying the Russian language. The poetry competition was also held among second-year students of the specialty “Russian language and Literature” (group 221), who were influenced by the example of freshmen.
“You must agree that autumn is the most poetic time of the year, inspiring the work of many generations of poets and writers, artists and composers. It was autumn that suggested to the participants and audience was wearing the color, and the moods that united the word and musical sounds, poetic lines and melody in the performances of the students,” said the organizer of the competition I.G.Chsherbovskikh.
The students needed not only to memorize the poems they liked about autumn. It was necessary to choose a musical accompaniment to the poem, which would be in harmony with the poetic work and the autumn landscapes alternating on the slides, represented on the canvases of great artists or on photographs taken by the students themselves. Poems by A.S.Pushkin, M.Y.Lermontov, Abai Kunanbaev, K.D.Balmont, Paul Verlaine and other classics sounded under the muted lilts of Chopin and Mozart. The impression was complemented by reproductions of paintings by I.I.Levitan, D.I.Polenov, B.Kustodiev, V.Serov, M.Nesterov.
The most vivid and memorable were the performances of students Sagatbek Asylzhan, Maratuly Alikhan, Kairullaev Mansur, Sabikhan Amina, Kyzyrov Alibek, Esbolatova Balgyn (TK-111), Nurgali Ayaulym, Torekhan Amina, Kapysh Adai, Urazgalieva Ayaulym, Makazhan Nurdaulet (YUK-111, YUPK-111). Sophomores Danil Akulov, Ekaterina Vyatleva, Yaroslav Rubashkin and Anna Shvetsova (RYAL-221) showed a subtle poetic and musical taste.
Another autumn month is ahead. And students are waiting for new contests and new victories.
