A festive event dedicated to International Women’s Day on March 8, titled “Arular – asyl zhandar , shuak bop shashylgandar” was held at Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov.
The ceremony began with a congratulatory speech by the Chairman of the Board – Rector Yermek Buribayev.
“A woman is not only the pillar of the family but also an individual who contributes to all spheres of society. The contribution of women to the development of the university and their confident strides in the educational space are significant,” said the rector.
During the event, several female employees were honored with “Ilyas Zhansugurov” badges, honorary certificates from the Chairman of the Board – Rector, letters of appreciation, and certificates of merit from the university’s trade union for their outstanding achievements in education and science, many years of dedicated service, and professionalism.
The official part of the event continued with a concert program prepared by the male staff members of the university.
