A virtual representative office “Zhetysu” in Poland

As a result of five years of fruitful cooperation with the Linguistic and Technical University in Przasnysz (Poland) on academic mobility programs of teaching staff, double diploma, joint scientific and educational projects, in order to strengthen the existing relationships and create a permanent information center for research, educational, methodological, cultural and educational work, a virtual representative office of the University “Zhetysu”was created on May 13, 2021.

At the opening of the representative office of “Zhetysu” on behalf of the Linguistic and Technical University in Przasnysz (Poland) was attended in an online format by the Rector, Professor Elżbieta Sternal, head of double degree programs Professor Lyudmila Kileva and and representatives of our university represented by the Chairman of the Board-Rector, Professor K.Baimyrzayev, Member of the Board-Vice-Rector for Research A.Bakhtaulova, Rector’s advisor A.Abyzova, Director of the International Cooperation and Strategic Development center A.Kaikibayeva, employees of the Faculty of Humanities, students and graduates of double degree programs.

During the meeting, International Cooperation and Strategic Development center presented the website of the virtual representative office https://zhetysu.edu.kz/en/linguistic-technical-university/, as well as the parties have prolonged the agreement on the development and implementation of dual degree programs based on the educational program “Philology” and educational programs 7M01701 – “Kazakh language and literature”, 6B01701 – “Kazakh language and literature”, 7M04201 – “Jurisprudence”, 7M01601 – “History”.

The virtual representation will function on the basis of the official websites of the universities. The activity of the representative office is aimed at representing the interests of universities through an online platform, attracting and providing information support for students of one university to study at a partner university, including in the framework of double degree programs, joint educational programs, promotion at a partner university by organizing joint online master classes, lectures, and courses.
