The legacy of Ilyas Zhansugurov in the development of the humanities: in the context of the 21st century

• The purpose of the project:

Analyze creative heritage of Ilyas Zhansugurov in onomopoetics, ethnopoetics, linguopoetics and traditional worldview, comprehend aspects of historicism, folklorism, leadership in interconnection, scientifically analyze the features associated with the use of artistic ethnography in the writer’s work, determine the place that he occupies in domestic and world interdisciplinary research.

• Objectives:

1. Analysis of the state of knowledge of this direction through the theoretical works of scientists who studied the creative heritage of Ilyas Zhansugurov in the field of the humanities, differentiation of research positions in the context of modern times. 2. Collection, systematization and analysis of data on various branches of the heritage of Ilyas Zhansugurov. 3. Analyze, weigh, determine the interdisciplinary nature of the thought of the first Kazakh highly educated journalist Ilyas in his journalistic, historical works. 4. Systematize, scientifically differentiate and submit to print the unpublished archival manuscripts of Ilyas (list of individual funds No. 1368) by industry. 5. Determine the contribution of Ilyas to the scientific study of chronological historical data in the works relating to the history of Zhetysu, to the fundamental formation of the historical science of Kazakhstan. 6. To highlight the political background of journalistic works of a journalist in the direction of protecting the national interests of the Kazakh people, journalistic originality, reflections and reasoned opinions on the way to solving urgent problems. 7. To analyze the cognitive essence of ethnographic works “poems and stories about Kazakh customs, customs and customs”, “superstitions about Kudalyk and Kudandalyk” in the ethno-poetic, linguo-cultural aspect and identify features. To reveal and reveal the poetic features of artistic activity and the poetic features of ethnography through the analysis of the national-cognitive foundations and artistic functions of Elijah. 8. Generalization and systematization of ethnographic vocabulary related to everyday life, economy, traditions, customs of the Kazakh people in the works of I. Zhansugurov, identification of the main features of the nomination of ethnographic vocabulary by studying its semantic and vocabulary educational structure and differentiation of the ethno-mental foundations of creativity. 9. Generalization of sacred names in the works of Ilyas, examination of the historical basis of names, commentary of an ethno-linguistic nature, preparation for publication. 10. Creation of an informative Web site and an electronic encyclopedia based on the legacy of I. Zhansugurov: indicators of solving the problem: terms of reference for creating a Web site, preparing and filling content for the site. 11. Determination of the place of the creative heritage of Ilyas Zhansugurov in the continuity of the humanities, the study and study of interdisciplinary continuity, the presentation of new conclusions, the implementation of several interrelated scientific tasks.

• The idea of the project:

1. Zhansugurov was not only a poet, writer, playwright, translator, literary critic, engaged in a single artistic work, but also a folklorist-collector, publisher and researcher of the heritage of oral literature, an ethnographer who used data related to Kazakh customs in his work, and left ethnographic notes, collecting data and information about the history of the Zhetysu region for the period from 1728 to 1916, and he was the first highly educated journalist and culturologist of Kazakh origin. The fact that the problem of interdisciplinary study of his heritage in the field of the humanities, such as history, ethnography, journalism, linguistics, is not considered at its level reflects the relevance of the project.

The civilian personality of the researcher who made an invaluable contribution to national literature, culture, historical exploits in the field of the humanities, who put national interests first, will be comprehensively studied. The valuable legacy of Ilyas Zhansugurov will be comprehensively studied, freed from political overtones, and new scientific conclusions will be drawn. They will collect, systematize, publish on a printed page, compare and analyze various versions of copies of documents in archives that have not yet been published, thereby comprehensively substantiating the contribution of I. Zhansugurov. As a result of the implementation of the project, a Web site for educational purposes and an electronic encyclopedia dedicated to the heritage of I. Zhansugurov will be created. The created Web-site and electronic encyclopedia will develop the cognitive activity of users (students), strengthen activities to improve the quality of education.

• Expected results:

– publication of 1 (one) article in a peer-reviewed scientific publication indexed by the Social Science Citation Index or Arts and Humanities Citation Index based on Web of Science or having 35 (thirty-five) percentiles according to CiteScore in the Scopus database; publication of 2 (two) articles in a peer-reviewed foreign or domestic publication recommended by the CQASSHE RK; – it is planned to publish monographs, textbooks, collections and dictionaries in Kazakhstani editions; – it is planned to disseminate the scientific results of the project (monograph, textbook, collection and dictionary) among potential users, scientific communities and the general public; – in accordance with the requirements of the tender documentation and the specifics of the project, it is planned to obtain an author’s certificate for the monograph “Cognitive nature of ethnographisms in the works of I. Zhansugurov”, the monograph “The onomastic nature of the works of Ilyas Zhansugurov”. The place of Ilyas Zhansugurov’s legacy in the continuity of the humanities within the framework of research at the turn of the new century will be determined. Archival manuscripts will be systematized by industry and introduced into scientific circulation. A place in the study of the history of Zhetysu will be determined. Interdisciplinary continuity is being explored, new findings are being advanced, and interconnected scientific commitments are being implemented. As indirect results of the project, articles are published at republican and international conferences, 2 Master’s thesises are defended, dedicated to the work of I. Zhansugurov.
