History of the branch establishment





As part of its internationalization efforts, on October 11, 2023, Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov signed a memorandum of cooperation with Marche Polytechnic University.
This memorandum laid the foundation for establishing academic and scientific partnerships between the universities, marking the first step toward opening a branch of Marche Polytechnic University at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, as well as developing and implementing dual-degree educational programs.
Following discussions with an Italian university, an agreement was made to establish a branch of Marche Polytechnic University at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov. The official signing ceremony of the agreement to open the branch took place on September 25, 2024, with the participation of the Ministers of Education and Science from Italy and Kazakhstan, as well as the rectors of both universities.
About the Marche Polytechnic University



Educational program
An agreement has been signed between the universities to implement a dual-degree educational program, and the educational program “Agricultural Sciences and Technologies” – “Agronomy” has been launched. Graduates who complete this program will receive an Italian diploma awarding a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, as well as a Kazakhstani diploma awarding a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture.

In order to implement the dual-degree program, within the framework of academic mobility and with funding from the national budget, two professors from Marche Polytechnic University were involved in teaching activities from September 23, 2024, to October 18, 2024. Sara Ruschioni lectured and conducted practical sessions in the course “Agricultural Entomology and Zoology,” while Luca Mazzoni taught the course “Fruticulture.”
Admission requirements

For citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
– Unified National Testing result – at least 50 points;
– English language proficiency at least at B1 level (IELTS certificate – at least 5.5 points).
For foreign citizens:
– Pass an interview;
– English language proficiency at least at B1 level (IELTS certificate – at least 5.5 points).
