On April 20, 2021, a meeting was held between representatives of the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology of Altai State University, represented by Deputy Director Sharlaeva Е., Head of the Department of Botany Speranskaya N. and representatives of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, represented by the Member of the Management Board-Vice-Rector for Research Bakhtaulova A., Director of the International Cooperation and Strategic Development center Kaikibaeva A., Head of the Department of Science and Commercialization of Scientific Projects Karasholakova L., Dean of the Technical Faculty Yessengabylov I., Head of the Department of Agronomy and Technical Disciplines Bolatova Zh.
In the interests of mutually beneficial international cooperation in the field of higher education with Altai State University, which is among the TOP 580 in the QS World Universities Ranking 2021, the parties signed a protocol for coordinating the curricula of the double diploma program for educational programs 7M05202 “Nature Management and environmental safety”-“Environmental safety of natural and anthropogenic systems”. Based on the results of the joint educational program, graduates will be issued with a Russian diploma of higher education with the award of a master’s degree and a Kazakh diploma of higher education with the award of a master’s degree.
During the meeting, further plans for the implementation of the joint educational program and prospects for cooperation on academic mobility of teaching staff and students, organization of joint seminars and conferences, implementation of joint scientific projects were also discussed.
The University announces recruitment for this dual degree program from the 2021-2022 academic year and invites interested bachelor’s graduates to participate.
