On October 19, 2023 in secondary school-lyceum №29 in Taldykorgan city there was held a methodical seminar for teachers of geography on the theme “Development of practical skills of students on the basis of STEAM education”, organized by the methodical center of education department of Zhetisu region together with the Higher School of Natural Sciences of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov. The seminar was conducted by methodologist of methodical center of education management of Zhetisu region Dikhambayev Galymzhan Tortbayevich, associate professor of the Higher School of Natural Sciences, c.g.s. Tokpanov Ye.A., doctoral student of the 2nd year of educational program 8D01505-Geography Mukhitdinova R.A., master students of the 2nd year of educational program 6M01506-Geography A.S. Askarova, A.A. Abenova, A.E. Akhmetkaliev.
During the methodological seminar practical methods of developing research skills, functional literacy of students on the basis of effective use of modern digital educational resources, results of geographical, ecological, physical, chemical research in accordance with STEAM education were applied.
