On December 3, 2021, at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, a subject Olympiad in chemistry was held among students of the educational program 6B01506 – “Chemistry”, 6B01507 – “Chemistry-Biology”. 4 teams took part in the Olympiad: students of the groups СhPK-111 – “Science”, СhBK-111 – “Young chemists”, СhBK-211 – “Followers of Mendeleev”, СhBK-211 – “Antoin Curу”. The knowledge and skills of students who took part in the Olympiad, consisting of theoretical and experimental rounds, were evaluated by a jury headed by the head of the educational program in the natural science direction, candidate of biology B. K. Oksikbaev.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the team “Antoine Curie” (group СhBK-211). The second place was taken by the team “Science” (group СhPK-111). The third place was taken by the team “Young Chemists” (group СhBK-111) and the Grand Prix team “Followers of Mendeleev” (group СhBK-211). Among the participants of the teams distinguished themselves: a student of the СhPK-111 group Yerbolsynuly Maksat, who received the nomination “Best group leader”, as well as students of the СhBK-211 group Sydykov Asetbek, who received the nomination “Best Experimenter” and Shayakhmet Shyryn, who received the nomination “Best Chemist”. The winners were awarded with special diplomas and certificates.
