Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov announces a contest for studying at European partner universities within the framework of academic mobility among students of 1-3 courses of bachelor’s degree programs in the 1st semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan covers the costs of flight, accommodation, insurance and consular fees for visa processing.
Requirements for participants:
– GPA above 3.0;
– The level of English language proficiency is not lower than B1.
To participate in the competition, you must provide the following list of documents:
1. Application of the student in the form approved by the Rules of the organization of the educational process on Credit technology of training approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 20, 2011 No. 152 (attached);
2. Filled application form of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who is going to study abroad (attached);
3. A copy of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
4. Transcript of current academic performance (must be obtained at the Registrar’s Office);
5. A document confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language: IELTS certificate 5.5 and higher or another certificate;
6. Copies of diplomas, certificates, diplomas in the chosen field of study received for participation in the event of the national or international level (if applicable);
7. Letter of recommendation from the dean of the higher school and the head of the EP;
8. Motivation letter (in Kazakh, Russian or English);
9. A document on the composition of the family, to confirm the large family of the student (if applicable);
10. A document confirming the absence of the student’s parents (for the category of students belonging to orphans or students left without parental care (if applicable);
11. Document confirming the student’s disability (if applicable);
12. Medical certificate 072/y “Certificate for a citizen going abroad”;
13. Photo 3*4 – 4 pcs.
The documents must be sent to the physical address of the university office marked “To participate in the academic mobility contest”, or to submit via the electronic website egov.kz .

Due to the fact that the deadlines for submitting applications to foreign partner universities are limited, documents are accepted until April 18, 2022 (inclusive).
