Career guidance work for school graduates of the Kerbulak district
Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov continues career guidance work. On January 24, 2023, a meeting was organized in an online format for students of the N. Almukhanbetov secondary school in the village of Bostan, Kerbulak district. The meeting was attended by the director of the Career and Employment Center – Smagulova Samal Alpysbekovna and Doctor of Philosophy (Phd), coordinator for scientific work of the Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology – Mailybayeva Gulmira Sabyrovna. During the conversation, the graduates of the school were presented with a video and a presentation about Zhetysu University, as well as detailed information about the educational institution. In particular, future students were interested in the structure and history of the university, as well as the specialties of the university. Also at the online meeting, applicants were provided with valuable information about the rules of the exams. The speakers shared their opinions on the choice of a future profession, success in each industry, and also talked about innovations in the field of education. During the event, the participants answered in detail various questions of graduates concerning the educational process and wished success in the final exams and testing. In general, career guidance work is carried out continuously in the region. Several meetings were held for graduates of schools in Taldykorgan and settlements. In the future, according to the plan for the region, it is planned to hold an event with future students.
