On February 10, 2023, an event dedicated to the 92nd anniversary of the birth of poet and writer Mukagali Makatayev was held at the Higher School of Natural Sciences. The event was attended by the MIK 111 group, the event was conducted by the lecturer Akhmetov Zh. Purpose: education of Kazakh patriotism, to show students the importance of the personality of Mukagali Makatayev as a patriot of his Homeland, his versatile talent as a poet, the depth of works, to acquaint students with the life and work of the poet, to instill a love for the beautiful, to teach listening to musical works, to activate the cognitive activity of students. At the event, students prepared a biography, poems and a discussion of the works of the poet and writer.
