SCIENTIFIC AND TRAINING SEMINARS

Scientific and training seminars are an important component in science, as they enable young scientists and teachers to develop professionally, expand their knowledge and improve their skills in a particular field of science. Also, thanks to the seminars, scientists are always up to date with the latest trends and developments in science.

The purpose of the seminars:

— Teaching the basics of scientometry and academic writing.

— Familiarity with the modern tools of the scientist, databases (Scopus, Web of Science, RSCI, NCGNTE, Kazpatent, etc.), information search capabilities.

— Training in the search for scientific journals for publications.

— Training in creating and configuring author profiles in various systems.

In this regard, the Department of Science and Commercialization of Scientific projects and Higher Schools conduct scientific and training seminars on various topics. For example, in the 2022-2023 academic year, the Department of Science and Commercialization of scientific projects plans to hold 28 training seminars. Since the beginning of the academic year, 15 planned and 3 unscheduled training seminars have already been held on such topics as “Tender documentation for grant financing (GF) and program-targeted financing (PCF) for scientific (or) scientific and technical projects”, “Submission of competitive applications for grant financing and program-targeted financing for scientific (or) scientific and technical projects through the NCGNTE system.”
