Seminar «Methods and tools in social and humanitarian research»
On May 19, 2023, a scientific seminar on “Methods of social and humanitarian research” was held on the basis of the Higher School of Humanities, organized within the framework of the project “Central Asian Law: legal culture and business environment in Central Asia” https://www.centralasianlaw.lu.se/cal-project
According to this project, from March 01 to April 30, 2023, the staff of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, academic secretary, Dr. N.K. Baigabatova and a junior researcher at the Rukhani Zhangyru Research Center, MA A.B. Kashaganova, completed a 2-month secondment at the University of Zurich in Switzerland https://www.isek.uzh.ch/de/ethnologie/Mitteilungen/Mitteilungen/Guests-at-ISEK—Social-Anthropology-Spring-2023-2.html.
During the seminar, the speakers shared the results of the internship and held a workshop on new methods and tools in conducting social and humanitarian research. The event was attended by teachers of educational programs of the socio-humanitarian disciplines.
