In order to improve the quality of organization and conduct of professional practice, on May 30, 2023, the Department of Academic Affairs held the contest "Intern of the Year" among graduate students of all educational programs.
The purpose of the competition is to improve organizational and methodological work on the preparation and conduct of students' professional practice, generalization and exchange of positive experience, determination of the level and quality of acquired knowledge and skills by students during the period of professional practice.

At the university level, a commission was created from among the teaching staff of all higher schools, chaired by the coordinator of the Quality Assurance Commission, Asel Bedelbaeva, and the coordinator of the Educational and Methodological Department of Higher and Postgraduate education, Aigul Alpysbaeva, responsible for the practice of the university, for the objective evaluation of competitive works and reports.
According to the results of the competition, 6 participants who scored the highest number of points were declared winners of the competition and awarded diplomas of I, II and III degrees:
1st place – Aruzhan Zharmukhambet, 4th-year student of the educational program "Mathematics-Informatics" (Higher School of Natural Sciences);
2nd place – Aizada Ayazbek, 4th-year student of the educational program "Primary education pedagogy and methodology» (Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology);
2nd place – Aigul Rakhmanbek, 4th-year student of the educational program "Pre-school education and Upbringing" (Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology);
3rd place – Sania Zhailaubai, 4th-year student of the educational program "Foreign language: 2 foreign languages" (Higher School of Humanities);
3rd place – Rizа Rysbek, 4th-year student of the educational program "Jurisprudence" (Higher School of Law and Economics);
3rd place – Merey Zherebaeva, 4th-year student of the educational program "Agronomics" (Higher School of Technical Sciences).
