From October 12 to 18, 2023, within the framework of the competitive selection under Budget Program No. 217 “Development of Science” for 2023–2025 and Subprogram No. 102 “Grant Funding of Scientific Research”, members of the project AR19678345 “Development of Creative Abilities of Future Primary School Teachers through Research Competence” – A.S. Tаurbekova, G.K. Yespolova, A. Bolatbekova, and A.T. Tynysshanova – undertook a scientific trip to Caucasus University (Tbilisi) with the purpose of exchanging experience.
During the visit, meetings were held with the Dean of the School of Education at Caucasus University, Aluda Goglidze, the Administrative Director of Educational Programs, Salome Chitorelidze, as well as a representative of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the Ministry of Science and Education of Georgia, Niko Silagadze. The discussions addressed issues concerning the education system and the specificities of training future teachers.
In the course of the visit, the methods and approaches applied in the pedagogical process of higher education were analyzed, the ways of utilizing various educational resources were demonstrated, and matters related to the formation of research competence among future primary school teachers were discussed.
