On December 4, Zhetysu I. Zhansugurov University held an online training organized by the public foundation «TAUAN» and Head of Educational Programs of journalism and information Esenbek Zhumagali Beysenbaiuly. The training was funded by the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Students of educational programs of journalism and information took part in the online training «Basics of information security literacy».
The virtual world is so shrouded in reality that every day all over the world, information security is becoming more important than the military. This is an achievement of a new era that offers us great opportunities. However, we cannot deny the existence of a threat.
The purpose of today’s training is to teach students to protect the privacy and integrity of shared data. In this connection, the trainees learned about the importance of copying important data, removing unused mobile applications, constant encryption of their devices, updating operating systems, using offline cards, abandoning application identifiers.
Speaker Dias Abdigazizov noted that in artificial intelligence applications it is advisable not to provide information about yourself openly and to install a special black protective film on the mobile phone. Thus, the online training was very useful and interesting. Participants of the training were awarded a special certificate.
