On November 30, 2023, a meeting with the Ambassador of Canada was organized at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov as part of the campaign «16 days of active actions against gender-based violence».
As part of the activities aimed at combating gender inequality, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the case championship was held. The university’s higher schools took part in the project competition.
According to its results, the project presented by the «NewGen Leaders» team of the Higher School of Humanities (head – Altay A.A.) was recognized as the best and took the first place. During the event, the members of the group: Serik Rosa, Zhandar Zhansaya, Bakytzhankyzy Aikunim, Bolekbai Abylai and Yerikuly Beknur received letters of thanks and memorable gifts from the ambassador.
