On May 4, 2024, at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, on the basis of educational grants from state and local executive bodies, a meeting was held with graduates, head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Zhetysu region Manap Kobylan Tokbergenovich. During the meeting, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, Doctor of Law, Professor Buribaev Mekek Abiltaevich focused on the issues of graduate employment. The meeting was attended by the dean of each Higher School and about 300 graduates.
During the meeting, Kobylan Tokbergenovich spoke about the requirements for admission to the civil service, whether graduates can find a job without competition, whether they need to have GPA scores above 3.33, in which region they can serve and other opportunities. We talked openly with graduates and talked about their readiness to hire graduates who graduate on the basis of educational grants.
