Mathematics in my environment

The teacher – lecturer of the Department of Physics and Mathematics K.Yeskendirov held an open lesson “Mathematics in my environment” with the group KOK 211. The application of STEAM technology (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) to mathematics and environmental protection is of particular importance in the development of educational and innovative projects. This approach allows you to combine science, engineering and art in one direction and solve complex problems. Mathematics serves as the basis for modeling and analyzing many processes in nature conservation. Examples:

Mathematical modeling: Used to understand phenomena such as climate change, air pollution, or ecosystem balance.

Statistical analysis: Collects data on environmental issues and helps predict future changes.

Algorithms: Artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms are used to identify and solve environmental problems such as forest fires and water scarcity.

Integrating mathematics and environmental protection through STEAM will allow young people not only to develop critical thinking, creative and technical skills, but also to become citizens who contribute to the preservation of nature.
