From December 2 to 8, the Asia-Pacific Games for athletes with hearing impairments in Greco-Roman wrestling took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A first-year student of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Arts at Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, Ralan Mukhametkaliyev, participated in the competition and won a bronze medal.
