RESULTS OF THE NATIONAL COMPETITION «THE BRIGHT PATH OF ALASH IN THE 21ST CENTURY»

Zarina Embergen, a 4th-year student of the 6B01701 – “Kazakh Language and Literature” educational program at I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, won 2nd place at the national competition «The Bright Path of Alash in the 21st Century», which took place on December 10, 2024, in the city of Karaganda. She received a cash prize of 300,000 tenge.

The competition was held in three stages: in the first stage, scientific works were selected online. The second stage took place on November 16, 2024, at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, where 41 participants advanced to the final. The third stage was held in Karaganda at the Academy named after B. Beisenov of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The competition was attended by young scholars, lecturers, and students aged 18 to 35. The jury consisted of renowned Alash researchers: Dikhan Kamzabekuly, Sultan Khan Akkululy Jusip, Kairbek Rizabekuly Kemenger, and Alma Sailaukzy.

Zarina Embergen’s scientific work titled “The Continuity of Telzhan Shonanuly’s Methodological Legacy with Modern Methods” was recognized as the best in the nomination “The Position of Alash Figures in Education and Science and Its Significance for Modern Kazakhstan”, earning her the prize-winning place.

The scientific advisor is PhD Gulim Toleukyzy Shukenai, a lecturer at the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature.
