On January 8, 2025 at the Department of History and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty of Humanities of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov held a seminar on the theme «Results of the Secondment within the MOCCA Project of the HORIZON Program».
The speakers of the seminar were Associate Professor of the Faculty of Humanities, Candidate of Historical Sciences N. Baigabatova and Project Office Manager A. Kashaganova, who are the participants of this project. From 1 November to 30 December 2024, they had a two-month secondment at Lund University (Sweden), where they improved their research skills (https://www.soclaw.lu.se/en/research/guest-researchers).
At the seminar, the speakers presented information about the project and shared the results of the research internship. The MOCCA project, funded by the European Commission’s HORIZON Programme, is a research project designed to contribute to global and national efforts to understand and counter corruption through interdisciplinary research. The project is implemented by researchers from 9 European and 10 Central Asian universities and research organisations (https://www.mocca.lu.se/mocca-project).
