In the period from 8-10 January 2025 in Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov in order to share experience and develop pedagogical excellence was organized Winter School of Pedagogical Excellence-2025. The workshop involved speakers who shared their experience of pedagogical excellence from such universities as: Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan-British Technical University, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, Satbayev University, Taraz Regional University named after. M.H. Dulati. New trends in education, methods of formation of academic writing skills of students and teachers, the effectiveness of using artificial intelligence tools in the educational process, organization of support for professional training of students with special educational needs were discussed.
In order to increase the scientific potential of the teaching staff, the development of creative abilities and professional and personal qualities in the framework of teaching under the guidance of Dr. Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Abishev N.A. was held a round table on the theme “Scientific bases of interaction between the subjects of education in higher education”. During the round table in the form of a discussion was discussed the range of opinions of the university teaching staff on topical issues of interaction between the subjects of education in the organization of learning and cognitive activities.
Under the guidance of the Director of the Department of Academic Affairs, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences G.T. Kydyrbaeva, a mastermind on the theme: “Features of studying disciplines on IP educational programs” was held, during this event the heads of departments and developers of educational programs identified and voiced proposals related to the peculiarities of teaching such disciplines.
In the practical part of the winter school, the faculties organized breakout sessions on improving the forms, methods and tools of teaching.
Within the framework of the winter school, teachers of Kazakhstan and foreign universities, employers and teaching staff of the university presented their methodological experience in the teaching of disciplines.In order to engage and reach a large audience, the Winter School was broadcast live through the ZOOM platform.
