On January 15, 2025, the lecturers of the “Department of History and Social Sciences,” PhD B.T. Kaliyeva, Master Zh.U. Kalelova, and Master N.B. Kasymova, as part of the intra-university grant project “Young Scientist-2025” on the topic “Museums of Zhetysu Region: Based on Geoinformation Systems (GIS) Technologies,” visited the “Karatal Historical and Local Lore Museum” located in the town of Ushtobe, Karatal district. During the visit, they familiarized themselves with the materials of the museum and carried out work on the project using geoinformation technologies (GIS) in the museums of the Zhetysu region.
