A military-patriotic meeting dedicated to the veterans of the Afghan war was held at Jetysu University, organized by the Military Department.
The event aimed to honor the bravery and determination of our heroes and to promote their example for the younger generation.
During the evening, veterans shared their memories of the war years and emphasized the importance of instilling patriotic values in young people. In gratitude, small gifts were presented to the veterans.
Among the participants were several Afghan war veterans, including Makset Esbatyrov, Bolat Kemelkhanuv, Myrtykbay Baymoldinov, Zhumabay Nurhaev, Serik Balagazov, Berikali Zheksenbayev, Amanzhol Baigutanov, Amangeldy Omarov, Toktar Isayev, Sembay Tynistanov, Kairat Janabaev, and Marat Ainekhov.
Such meetings are aimed at awakening students’ patriotic feelings and motivating them to faithfully fulfill their civic duty to their country.
