The national campaign “Taza Kazakhstan” (“Clean Kazakhstan”) continues to gain momentum across the country, evolving into a widespread eco-challenge. The staff and students of Zhetysu University are actively participating in this initiative. Today, with the sponsorship of JSC “Halyk Bank” in Taldykorgan, tree saplings were planted on the university campus.
University Rector Yermek Buribaev expressed his gratitude to the bank’s administration for supporting an event aimed at protecting the environment.
“If these young trees grow lush and strong, the ecological situation in our city will improve. Students will be able to rest in the shade of the trees and breathe fresh air. By taking care of the trees they planted themselves, they will develop a sense of environmental responsibility and culture,” the rector said.
