On April 17, 2025, at the Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, the regional contest of innovative projects among school students «Til Daryn» was held as part of the academic readings of scholar and lecturer K. Sarbasova.
The goal of the contest is to support creative and innovative projects in the field of philology; to integrate modern technologies into the language learning process; to develop the potential of young inventors, researchers, and future linguists; and to popularize the academic work of philologists in the region. The contest was organized in honor of the scientific contributions of veteran lecturer and university scholar Karlygash Sarbasova.
The event was led by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Zhetysu University, Doctor of Law, Professor E. Buribayev. The opening ceremony was attended by scholars from Kazakhstani universities, advocates for the development of the native language, and university faculty members. During the opening, a five-volume work by K. Sarbasova was presented.
A total of 16 projects from schools in the Alakol, Karatal, Sarkan, Eskeldin districts and the city of Taldykorgan were submitted to the contest.
Contest Results:
1st Place – Erik Aikun, Kumarkyzy Azhar, Turlybek Aysha. Scientific advisor: Mekisheva Saule. Creative Center “DARUN-ALEM”, Secondary School named after A. Baitursynuly, Usharal, Alakol District. Prize fund – 70,000 KZT.
2nd Place – Zhasklen Inzhu. Scientific advisor: Isypkali Asel Serikpaykyzy. Humanities and Economic Lyceum named after N. Ostrovsky, Sarkan. Prize fund – 50,000 KZT.
3rd Place – Abseitova Balausa. Scientific advisor: Oralbaeva Dinara. Specialized Lyceum No. 24 named after Mukhtar Aryn, Taldykorgan. Prize fund – 30,000 KZT.
Special Nominations:
Best Digital Project – Yerdauletkyzy Ayala, Suley Ayazhan, Mauletkyzy Zhansaya. Scientific advisor: Yedelbayeva Asmaral. School named after T. Rustembekov, M. Bayysova village, Eskeldin District.
Best Methodological Project – Amanzholuly Sultanbai. Scientific advisor: Koishybekova Nazgul. Secondary School No. 23 with preschool mini-center, Taldykorgan.
Best Literary and Creative Project – Rakhymkazy Mukagali, Dastanuly Darmen. Scientific advisor: Dukenbayeva Roza. School-Lyceum No. 29, Taldykorgan.
Best Creative Project – Kenesbek Zhanely. Scientific advisor: Amirova Aliya. Specialized Lyceum No. 20, Taldykorgan.
Best Linguistic Project – Kanatly Erdos, Bauyrzhanuly Bekbauly. Scientific advisors: Sakenova Zarina Sakenkyzy, Kabi Gulnaz. School No. 21 with preschool mini-center, Otenay village.
All participants received commemorative gifts and letters of appreciation. Additionally, a regional seminar was held for scientific advisors on the topic «Methodology of organizing research work at school». Seminar participants were awarded certificates.
