The scholars of I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University took part in the international scientific conference “Corruption in Non-Western Societies: Insights from Central Asia”, held at Lund University (Sweden). The university was represented by:
- Daniyar Kaldiyarov, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Management.
- Daniya Nurmukhankyzy, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor;
Within the framework of the event, drafts of scientific articles and book chapters were presented. The central topic of discussion was corruption in the countries of Central Asia. Related issues were also considered – the functioning of the judicial system, migration processes, inclusive education, and social transformations in the region.
Participation in the conference was an important step towards strengthening international scientific dialogue, expanding research cooperation, and actively integrating the scholars of Zhetysu University into the global scientific community.
