From May 20 to 27, the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship took place in Amman, the capital of Jordan.
Students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts at Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov represented our country with dignity on the international stage:
- Samat Sarsenuly claimed silver in the 56 kg weight category,
- Gaukhar Kanatbek earned bronze in the 70 kg weight category.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our jiu-jitsu athletes on their well-deserved victories! Wishing them continued success and new achievements in their sporting careers!
