From May 2 to May 18, 2025, master’s students of the educational program 7M04110 “Healthcare Management” (EMBA) completed an internship at Lund University (Sweden). Zhamal Izbassarova and Aigul Tursagatova completed an academic internship within the framework of the program “Social Justice, Patient Rights, and Sustainable Healthcare Management” under the guidance of Pr. Rustam Urinboyev. As part of the program, they completed 60 academic hours and received the certificates of completion.
The program proved to be extremely useful from both practical and academic perspectives. The listeners enhanced their knowledge in healthcare management, sustainable development, and patient rights within an international context. Moreover, during the internship, master’s students took part in the international scientific conference “Corruption in Non-Western Societies: Insights from Central Asia”, where they expanded their academic perspectives and built professional connections with members of the global academic community.
