On May 29, 2025, faculty members of the Department of History and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines, PhD B.T.Kaliyeva, MasterJ.U.Kalelova, and Master N.B.Kasymova, conducted a scientific study within the framework of the university grant project«Jas Galym-2025» on the topic «Museums of the Zhetysu Region: Based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technologies». During their research visit to the Panfilov district, they examined the architectural and artistic museum «Zharkent Mosque» in the city of Zharkent, as well as the «Military Glory» museum. The scholars studied museum materials, analyzed exhibitions, and evaluated the potential application of GIS technologies in museum management as part of the project implementation.
