On May 21, 2025, lecturers from the Department of History and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines, PhD B.T. Kaliyeva, Master Zh.U.Kalelova, and Master N.B. Kassymova, visited museums in the Zhetysu region as part of the university grant project “Jas Galym-2025” on the topic “Museums of Zhetysu Region: Based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technologies.” During their working visit, they explored the “Koilyk” museum at the M. Zhumabayev Secondary School in the village of Koilyk, as well as the historical museum of Sarkand in the village of Cherkassk. Throughout the trip, they familiarized themselves with materials and conducted research within the framework of the project.
