About the scientific project

    • Program name: AP22683782 Commercialization of space technologies and knowledge transfer: legal aspects

     

    • The purpose of the program: the aim of the project is a comprehensive study, assessment of legal aspects, as well as the development of conceptual foundations, scientific and methodological recommendations for the mechanisms of commercialization of space technologies and knowledge transfer.

     

    • Objectives:

    1) to analyze the legal nature of the commercialization of space technologies and knowledge transfer, identify its objects and subjects, and study the legal instruments for its implementation;

    2) to study the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries in the field of commercialization of space technologies and knowledge transfer;

    3) to study the activities of authorized bodies, as well as enterprises of the aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan; 

    4) to analyze the prospects for the development of space technologies in the Republic of Kazakhstan for its further commercialization;

    5) publication of scientific articles in foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals, monographs, textbooks.

     

    • The idea of the project: the project is aimed at developing a scientific concept, practical recommendations for improving the organizational and legal support for the commercialization of space technologies and knowledge transfer, proposals for improving the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in this area and the practice of its application in the aerospace industry.

     

    • Expected results: In accordance with the requirements of the tender documentation, the form of implementation of the project result will be:

    1) two articles and (or) reviews in a peer-reviewed scientific publication indexed in the Social Science Citation Index or Arts and Humanities Citation Index of the Web of Science database and (or) having a CiteScore percentile in the Scopus database of at least 35 (thirty-five).

    2) Publication of one monograph. This result will provide an opportunity to disseminate the research results among enterprises of the aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the community of scientists and the general public.
