From June 3 to 6, 2025, the VII Spartakiad of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Boccia was held in Astana. Kuanysh Askarbekov, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts at Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, won 1st place.
