Currently, microqualification is a new trend in national and world-class higher education. The Center for Competencies and Complementary Education of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov is working on the development and implementation of microqualification programs. This academic year, the Center, together with the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, has developed a microqualification program “Practical Speech Therapy” for speech therapists and special educators of educational organizations, as well as graduates of the educational program “Special Pedagogy”. The micro-qualification program is aimed at developing individual, fast and accessible skills. The program offers specific knowledge, skills and competencies that meet the modern needs of the labor market and promote employment or develop additional qualification skills.
From May 19 to June 14, 2025, training under the Practical Speech Therapy microqualification program was organized and conducted on the basis of the Center for Competencies and Complementary Education. The total amount of the program is 120 academic hours. The microqualification program consists of two disciplines: “Speech therapy examination, correction, consultation” (2 credits) and “Speech therapy massage” (2 credits).
During the training under this microqualification program, students, speech therapists, and special educators of educational institutions, based on modern approaches and methods of speech therapy, studied correctional work on the formation and development of speech in children and the formation of skills in complex speech therapy massage for speech disorders, and the organization of speech therapy care. The training was conducted by Gulnaz Tursynbekovna Azanbekova, lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology. The classes were conducted in an offline format that was convenient for the listeners. 35 students were trained under this program, including students of the 4th year of the educational program 6B01902 – Special pedagogy, speech therapists, special educators of general and special education institutions.
