From June 19 to 21, 2025, in Almaty, at the VI Youth Summer Games of the Republic of Kazakhstan in athletics,
students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov achieved great success:
- Aibol Omar — 1st place in the 5000 m distance
- Saniya Kudaybergen — 1st place in the 5000 m distance
- Akbayan Nurmamet — 2nd place in the 5000 m distance
