Today, Senator of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Amangeldy Tolamisov, paid an official visit to Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov.
The esteemed guest met with the Chairman of the Board – Rector Yermek Buribayev, and was introduced to the university’s operations and the work of the admissions committee.
As part of his working visit, Amangeldy Tolamisov also visited the branch of Marche Polytechnic University, established on the basis of Zhetysu University. He became acquainted with the implementation of educational programs aimed at training in-demand specialists for the region’s agricultural sector, as well as with the progress of joint degree programs.
The Senator also toured the Research Institute of Biotechnology and Ecology, the Center for Academic Excellence, and the Speed Breeding Center, expressing genuine interest in the scientific projects carried out by young researchers.
Amangeldy Tolamisov highly praised the university’s scientific potential and infrastructure, and wished the academic community continued success in its future endeavors.
